Denmark is the southernmost of the Scandinavian countries and the only one with a land border to mainland Europe. Denmark is a constitutional monarchy with a ruling queen, Margrethe II. The Danes also invented Lego (my favorite childhood toy) and continue to operate the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world.
